About THE CLUBS

How about a new band to get excited about for 2026? The Clubs are based in Berlin. The band includes Roméo from Les Lullies/Patrol along with members of Slander Tongue and Klavo. A self-titled debut EP is out now No Fuss Tapes with vinyl coming from Bachelor Records. Basically what we have here is late ’70s/early ’80s style power pop meets straight-up rock ’n‘ roll with a touch of ’60s jangle. What’s not to like about that? These tunes have got quality hooks and a lot of muscle behind them. The production is just about perfect: clean but not excessively polished.
