About KOOKABURA (BE)

Kookaburra was formed in 2017. Our first EP ‘Mystery Girl’, released on tape in 2018, sold out in less than a year.

With our second EP ‘KidKiteBike’, released on 7 inch (Gazer Tapes, 2019) we could do a tour through Belgium/Germany.

Our First album ‚Dry Eyes / White Mice‘ in 2020 (Ressurection Records US/ Gazer Tapes) give us the opportunity to do a tour through Germany, France and The Netherlands. We also get the opportunity to do a cool support-show for Frankie and the Witch Fingers (US) and The Cool Greenhouse (UK).

With our new baby we tried to experiment with different musical influences (post-punk, psychedelic rock) while still maintaining our fuzzy, catchy garage-sound.
