Wax Head (UK)

About Wax Head
A visceral gang of youth rolling around in a sweaty pit of garage-psych riffage.
Wax Head is a high-energy, drummer-fronted punk-psych band from Manchester. Formed in 2023, the band built a reputation for their wild live shows and relentless energy. Their debut EP, Salt Fat Acid Heat (2023, Sour Grapes Records), put them on the map, leading to gigs with Flat Worms, Frankie and The Witch Fingers, Meatbodies, Melts and Manchester Psych Fest.
In winter 2024, Wax Head released their single Rusty Cutter (Sour Grapes Records) and hit the road for their first UK/EU tour. They played major festivals like Left of the Dial (Rotterdam) and They Are Going To Be Big (Paris), alongside headline shows across France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. With a packed touring schedule and new music on the way, Wax Head is just getting started.
